Job Description

Qualification in Details: Inviting Applications from eligible candidates for appointment of Assistant Coaches purely on contract basis. Sports Authority of India invites applications in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for appointment purely on contract basis as Assistant Coach for an initial period of four years (subject to yearly performance evaluation) as detailed below: 1. Post: Assistant Coach 2. No of Post: 220 3. Eligibility: Diploma in Coaching from SAI, NS NIS, or from any other recognised Indian/ Foreign University OR Olympic/International Participation OR Dronacharya Awardee 4. Pay Range in Rupees: 41,420 -112,400 5. Tenure: 4 Years and extendable in cycle of 4 years 6. Total consolidated remuneration to be fixed after taking into account experience, certification and Dronacharya Award. Remuneration will be fixed after adding the number of increments accordingly. 7. In case a person has eligibility because of two criteria then, criteria advantageous to him will be applicable or as opted by the candidate. 8. Appointment committee may recommend higher salary with specific recommendations in case of coaches having higher qualifications/ exceptional achievements. Age Limit: Maximum age as on last date of submission of application: 40 years
