CMRL invites applications from Indian Railway Officials on deputation basis for the post of General Manager (Track) 1. Name of the Organisation - Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) 2. Name of the post - General Manager (Track) 3. Service - IRSE / Group ‘A’ / Civil 4. Scale of Pay for deputation post - (i) The deputationist shall be entitled to draw pay being drawn in the parent organization. Additionally, deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each will be paid.(ii) Option to draw pay and allowances as per the parent organization or to draw equivalent cadre IDA pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and Cafeteria Allowances of 20% of Basic Pay. 5. Number of post - 01 (One) 6. Location - Chennai 7. Tenure of deputation - Initial Period of deputation will be for a period of 3 years, which shall be extendable up to 5 years. 8. Qualification & Experience - i) Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute / University. ii) Should be in SAG grade with minimum of 23 years of experience in major Railroad Construction / Maintenance Projects / Metro and Railway Projects with hands on experience in track alignment and laying, welding of rail joints by mobile flash welding and placing of points and crossings. iii) Experience in construction and maintenance of Track works, Bridges, Viaduct, Contract Management, Installation and Commissioning of turnouts and coordination with other departments like operation / signal / Rolling stock & OHE will be an added advantage. Age: Age not exceeding 50 years as on date of notification i.e. 12.05.2021 (Age will be relaxed for deserving candidates)
