Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata is inviting applications for the recruitment of two (02) Project linked persons purely on temporary basis in Category 'A' and 'B' to work in the project titled "Development of an E-Learning Portal on Official Statistics and Allied Topics" in the Sampling and Official Statistics Unit of the Institute, Kolkata. No.PU/507/ADV/245 1. Name of the Post: Project linked persons 2. No of Post: 02 3. Qualifications and Experience: a) For Category A - M.Sc. in Statistics/ Data Science/ Economics/ Econometrics with experience in Computer Programming/ Statistical Packages.b) For Category B - B.E./ B. Tech. in Information Technology/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering, or M.C.A. with experience in web-portal related work. 4. Pay (for Category 'A' and 'B'): A consolidated pay 25000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month. 5. Tenure of Appointment (for Category 'A' and 'B'): The duration of the appointment is initially till 31 March 2022 from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidate. Age: Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 July 2021, usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled and extraordinary candidates. Age may be relaxed for exceptionally bright candidates with relevant experience.
