Applications are invited for walk-in-interviews to be held in online and offline mode for engagement to the following posts purely on contractual basis under NMCG project at ICAR-CIFRI, Barrackpore as per details given below : No. NMCG(Phase-II) -121(1)/2020-Adm.II/ 1. Details of the post: Project Scientist – 1 Nos. (Interchangeable between Barrackpore & Allahabad) 2. Salary: 50,000/- +HRA 3. Qualification: Ph. D. in Fisheries Resources Management / Aquaculture/ Zoology with at least 1 year experience on exploration of benthos/ plankton / fish diversity 4. “Fish Stock Enhancement Including Hilsa and Livelihood Improvement for Sustainable Fisheries and Conservation in River Ganga” under the “NamamiGange” Programme 5. Component – 1 :Enhancement of depleted fish stock through captive breeding of indigenous stock and ranching programme at the selected sites in river Ganga . Age: The Minimum age will be 21 years and Maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
