Job Description

To meet its human resource requirements, REC invites applications from dynamic, committed, self-motivated and experienced professionals for various posts, the details of which are as under: 1. Name of the post/ Grade & IDA Pay Scale (w.e.f. 01.01.2017): Deputy Manager (Information Technology)/ E-4/ ₹ 70,000- 2,00,000) 2. Number of posts: 01(UR) 3. Prescribed minimum qualification(s): Regular full time Bachelors in Engineering/ B.Tech. or equivalent in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA .4. Nature of experience / Minimum CTC required for Private Sector Candidates: Minimum relevant post qualification executive experience of 9 years in IT in a Power distribution utility Desirable experience: In IT & related areas in ERP, Billing, MDM etc. in power distribution utilities CTC of ₹ 18 Lakh p.a 1. Name of the post/ Grade & IDA Pay Scale (w.e.f. 01.01.2017): Manager (Engineering)/ E-5/ ₹ 80,000- 2,20,000 -Power Distribution (2) -Transmission (1) -Contracts & Procurement (1) 2. Number of posts: 04 (UR:2, OBCNCL:1, SC:1)3. Prescribed minimum qualification(s): Regular full time Bachelors in Engineering/ B.Tech. or equivalent in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Engineering/ Power System Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute/ University with first division or equivalent CGPA 4. Nature of experience / Minimum CTC required for Private Sector Candidates: a) For Power Distribution role: Minimum relevant post qualification executive experience of 12 years in a Power Distribution Utility. Desirable experience: Implementation of power distribution projects. b) For Transmission role: Minimum relevant post qualification executive experience of 12 years in a Power Transmission Utility Desirable experience: Implementation of power transmission projects. c) For Contracts & Procurement role: Minimum relevant post qualification executive experience of 12 years in a Power distribution utility. Desirable experience: Management of contracts & procurement of materials & works in power distribution sector. CTC of ₹ 22 Lakh p.a.
