1. Name of Posts: Project Scientist 2. No. of Posts: 01 3. EssentialQualification: 1st class M. Sc. degree in Zoology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences or related discipline from a recognised university with 4 years research experience. OR 2nd Class M.Sc. degree in Zoology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences+ PhD in concern subjects from any recognised university. 4. Desirable Qualification: Working experience in field based epidemiological studies on Leishmaniasis as evidence by publications in reputed national and international journals Working experience in molecular biological techniques Doctorate Degree in Zoology/Life Science or relevant subject from a recognized University.5. Job Responsibilities: Planning and execution of field based epidemiological survey in four study districts viz., Darjeeling, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur and Malda To lead and carry out door to door survey Handling and analysis of epidemiological survey data and maintenance of accounts Project report writing and other relevant work assigned by the project investigators. Age: Upto 40 Years
