Project Title: “Development of fibers reinforced alumina and zirconia matrix composites for high-temperature applications”. 4. Brief Description of work: This project is on the fabrication of high-temperature ceramic matrix fiber-reinforced composite. Work involves the processing of ceramic powders, fabrication of composites, compaction, preform making, sintering of composites, heat treatments, phases and microstructure characterization, testing of mechanical and other properties, etc .5. Essential Qualifications: M.Tech./M.E./ or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Ceramics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in Composite Materials)/ or related areas. AGE- 35 YEARS.
