1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow position 2. Project Title “Post-Processing of Direct Energy Deposition Components: Need Identification and Process Selection” 3. Brief Description of work This project is in the area of Metal Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) of Inconel Superalloys and other alloys; work includes processing and post-processing, powder processing, phases, and microstructures characterization, metallography, mechanical properties testing and characterization, heat treatments, etc. 4. Essential Qualifications M.Tech./M.E./ or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science/ Mechanical Engineering (with Manufacturing specialization) /or related areas. OR B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Science/ related area, with a valid GATE score 5. Desirable Experience in some of the following areas: microstructural study, metallography practices, heat treatments, mechanical testing, working with metals and alloys, powder metallurgy, metal additive manufacturing. Experience in handling various material characterization, processing, and testing equipment, etc. AGE- 35 YEARS.
