Applications are invited under a sponsored project. The details of the project are as under: 1. Post Name: Consultant/Research Associate 2. No. of Post: 01 3. Title of The Project: Establishment of hybrid micromachining technology using micro electrochemical machining and micro electro-discharge machining processes for aerospace materials 4. Tenure of Project: The position is temporary for three months and co-terminus with the project 5. Job Description (in a maximum of 100 words) To conduct experiments on the developed hybrid micro-machining system. Characterization of the micro-machined surface and report preparation. 6. Essential Qualification: The applicant must have a Ph.D. degree or a recently submitted Ph.D. thesis. The thesis work must be related to EDM/micro-EDM/micro-ECM/ECM or related to any non-traditional material removal processes. The applicant must have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engg. (Specialization: manufacturing Engg.)with first-class/division with a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.0 (on a 10 point scale) with B.Tech. / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Age: The upper age limit is 32 years at the time of appointment (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female candidate as per GOI rules)
