Scale of Pay: Level -11 in the Pay Matrix 5 .Eligibility: Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government: (i)holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department in Level-7 in the Pay Matrix; or Stenographers Grade-I with 5 years regular service in level-6 in the Pay Matrix, rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; Note: The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. similarly, Deputationists will not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
