No.VECC-1/2020 Last date of application: 11.12.2020 ONLINE INTERVIEW FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW Applications are invited for engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in various research projects at Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Kolkata, from the candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE national level examination. The JRFs joined on selection will be eligible for registration in the Ph.D. programme of Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) (deemed to be University) subject to fulfillment of HBNI/UGC norms. Qualification : First class Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from any recognized University/ Institute and must have qualified in NET/GATE. Candidates should send their application by email only at rect@vecc.gov.in and subject should be written as "Application for engagement as Junior Research Fellow". The eligible candidates will be invited for appearing in an online interview and the date of the interview will be intimated in due course of time. Candidates should send their application as per attached form which is available in the advertisement attaching all the photocopies of the mark sheets, certificates, 2 (two) recommendation letters issued by the faculty members of the institute last attended and other relevant testimonials. Candidates not able to attend on-line interview will inform well in advance at rect@vecc.gov.in and provide reasons for his/her inability to join on-line interview. The committee will examine the reasons given by the candidates and make suitable arrangement for genuine cases. Candidates may ensure that they fill the correct information. If candidates furnish false information, such candidates will be disqualified. Since the presentation is being organized through online, candidates may note that final selection would be subject to verification of all credentials at appropriate time.
