1.NO.OF POST : General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) 2. NO OF POST : 300 POSTS 3. Qualification : Medical Qualification included in the First and Second schedules or Part-II of the Third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and registration as medical practitioner in West Bengal. Six months’ practical training as House Staff in any Government hospital or other recognized institution. Age Limit : Not more than 36 years for ordinary Medical Graduates and 40 years for those possessing Post-graduate Medical qualification on 01.01.2023 relaxable for otherwise well qualified and experienced candidates. Selection Process WBPSC officials will conduct the Screening Test, Interview to select the candidates for WBPSC General Duty Medical Officer posts.
