No of Post - 01 Educational Qualifications - The Candidate should be a first-class MBA graduate / or a Master’s degree or / PG Diploma 2. Qualification in Materials Management from a reputed Institution will be desirable. 3. Should have minimum 16-20 years of experience out of which should have minimum 10 years of post-qualification professional experience in Materials Management. Age Bracket - 45-55 years. Other Important Details - S/he is responsible for end to end, procurement planning and stores management material and good procured by the Institute. This includes timely planning and delivery of materials required by various user departments in the Institute as per GFR guidelines and Procurement policies of the Institute. S/he must ensure that materials delivered have met set expectations/ timelines/guidelines. 2. S/he is expected to interact and understand the needs of the end users, initiate procurement processes, identify vendors, evaluate vendors, negotiate price and finalize the potential vendors for the same as were procurement policies of the Institute. 3. S/he is also expected to contribute to cost reduction initiatives by way of identifying alternative sources / vendors and materials to accrue savings for the Institute, use costing-based approach in addition to comparing competitive quotes to discover the right price for the materials and goods purchased. 4. S/he is also expected to contribute towards driving budgets, participate in the annual budgeting and material demand planning exercise. As a part of functional activities, s/he is also required to identify the regular consumed items and finalize the yearly rate contracts. 5. S/he should manage the operations of the stores, which includes, processes related to receipts and issues of materials and goods to internal stakeholder. This would include periodic review and disposal of unused/scrap items as per internal guidelines. 6. Manage the Annual Stock taking exercise and ensure compliance with the institute guidelines on the same. 7. Should ensure all procurement and stores management processes are managed digitally and improve business processes related to the same in an ERP driven work environment. 8.
